Job summary

Wozo Gaming is seeking a Senior 2D Spine Animator to join the creative team in the United Kingdom. You will create high-quality 2D character and asset animations using Spine, utilizing AI-assisted tools to boost creativity and efficiency.

You will collaborate with designers, artists and developers to deliver fluid animations and provide guidance to junior teammates, while staying ahead of Spine trends and AI animation workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation with strong Spine expertise.
• Solid understanding of animation principles, rigging and motion design.
• Proficiency in Spine, Photoshop, Illustrator and other related tools.
• Prior experience in the gaming industry is a strong plus.
• Willingness to integrate AI-assisted animation workflows to boost efficiency and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D character and asset animations using Spine, incorporating AI-assisted tools to enhance creativity and efficiency.
• Use AI to automate repetitive tasks, assist with rigging, generate in-between frames, and improve visual effects.
• Collaborate with designers, artists and developers to deliver fluid, appealing animations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior animators.
• Troubleshoot and resolve animation-related issues during production.
• Stay updated on 2D animation trends, Spine techniques, AI animation tools, and suggest workflow improvements.
