Job summary

GSA Techsource is seeking a skilled 2D Artist & Animator for an iGaming/slot games project in the UK. You will guide artwork from initial concept through to fully animated, game-ready assets, collaborating with a creative team.

You’ll contribute across illustration, animation, and UI elements, using Spine and After Effects to bring characters and environments to life, while maintaining a strong visual storytelling eye.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in 2D illustration and animation for iGaming or slot games.
• Ability to take artwork from concept through to final game-ready assets.
• Strong knowledge of Spine and After Effects.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator within Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D concepts, illustrations and game artwork from initial ideas through to final production.
• Develop characters, environments, UI elements and other visual assets for engaging game experiences.
• Animate artwork and characters using Spine, bringing static artwork to life.
• Create animations, effects and motion that enhance the overall player experience.
• Take ownership of artwork throughout the full production lifecycle, from initial concept through to final game-ready assets.
• Work across a variety of projects, adapting your style and approach to different game concepts and themes.
