Job summary

SSEN Transmission is seeking up to four Deputy Project Directors to join the Offshore Delivery Team and help deliver HVDC Converter Station packages at Lewis, Fanellan or Netherton HUB sites. Based in Scotland, you will report to a Project Director and deputise in their absence.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, manage NEC3 contracts, ensure safety and regulatory submissions, and build strong relationships with stakeholders and the supply chain to drive delivery of a £350m+ package while

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large capital projects, ideally in electricity transmission/infrastructure.
• Proven ability to negotiate and execute NEC3 contracts (£100m+ advantageous).
• Strong stakeholder and regulatory engagement across multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a £350m+ HVDC Converter Building Package via NEC3 based contracts within ASTI framework.
• Support HVDC portfolio acceleration and Ofgem regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with Transmission Management to uphold Safety and Golden Rules on site.
• Build relationships with internal/external stakeholders and supply chain partners.
• Lead Project and Construction Managers; oversee schedule, contracts, risk, governance, and changes.
• Assist Project Director in HUB site delivery and Ofgem submissions.
