SSE plc is seeking up to 4 Deputy Project Directors to join the Transmission Delivery Team for HVDC Converter Station projects at multiple Scottish sites. You will report to a Project Director and may deputise in their absence, helping deliver large-scale capital work within the ASTI framework to support Scotland and the UK Net Zero aims.

Travel to sites is required, and you will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage supply chains, and drive safety and governance across delivery packages.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to prepare, negotiate and execute NEC3 contracts over £100m.
• Knowledge of project controls, governance and schedules for large capital projects.

Responsabilités

• Deliver a £350m+ HVDC Converter Building Package via NEC3-based ASTI framework.
• Support HVDC portfolio acceleration and Ofgem submissions as delegated by the Project Director.
• Collaborate with Transmission Management to uphold safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Build strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders and supply chain partners to enable delivery.
• Lead a team of Project and Construction Managers across schedule, contracts and governance.
• Assist the Project Director in HUB site delivery and Ofgem submissions.
