Job summary

Sapphire Cooling Services is recruiting a Technical Sales Manager in Ipswich to blend HVAC technical knowledge with commercial acumen. You will survey sites, assess customer needs, prepare detailed quotations and drive opportunities from enquiry to order.

You’ll work across air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pumps, building strong client relationships and coordinating with engineering and operations to ensure successful project delivery. Hybrid working options are available.

Qualifications

• Industrial HVAC experience with technical sales exposure.
• Ability to survey sites and estimate costs.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site surveys and recommend technical solutions.
• Prepare quotations covering labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor costs.
• Manage sales opportunities from enquiry to order.
• Follow up quotations and maintain a clear sales pipeline.
• Develop relationships with existing customers and identify new opportunities.
• Generate new business across the region.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to deliver projects.
• Support smooth handover after securing projects.
