Job summary

Sapphire Cooling Services is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager in Ipswich. The role blends technical HVAC knowledge with commercial acumen to move opportunities from first enquiry to order and handover.

Qualifications

• HVAC systems knowledge across air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump projects.
• Experience surveying sites and building quotations.
• Strong commercial awareness on project costs and margins.
• Excellent negotiation and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site surveys and recommend technical solutions.
• Prepare accurate quotations covering labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor costs.
• Manage sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to order.
• Follow up quotations and maintain a clear sales pipeline.
• Develop relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for additional win work.
• Generate new business across the region.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure delivery.
• Support smooth handover once projects are secured.
• Monitor sales performance, conversion rates and margins.
