Job summary

Magpie Recruitment is seeking a Sales Executive with HVAC industry experience to grow our client base in Wimbledon, London. The role focuses on developing new business, understanding customer requirements, and converting opportunities into sales.

You will promote HVAC products and services, including equipment supply, servicing, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment, with regular client visits and a hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC, air conditioning, refrigeration, chillers or related sector.
• Ability to discuss customer requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Experience generating new business and managing client relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Proactive approach to prospecting and following up on opportunities.
• Good diary management and ability to schedule client visits.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the HVAC market.
• Arrange and attend regular client meetings to understand requirements and discuss suitable solutions.
• Build relationships with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities for repeat business.
• Promote HVAC equipment and service offerings, drawing on technical support where required.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals, progressing enquiries through to agreement.
• Work closely with technical and service teams to ensure proposals meet customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records of client conversations, sales activity and upcoming opportunities.
• Keep track of market developments and provide feedback on customer demand.
