Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Doncaster is seeking an HVAC Multi Skilled Engineer to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance across plant, equipment and building services.

The successful candidate will identify risks, manage BMS-controlled conditions and fault-find on VRV/VRF systems, with scope to supervise subcontractors and contribute to safety and energy performance.

This role may require overtime, night and weekend work, and on‑call duties as part of a facilities team.

Qualifications

• HVAC maintenance experience is required.
• F-Gas handling and refrigerants knowledge is essential.
• City & Guilds mechanical qualifications or equivalent.
• Ability to supervise contractors and perform risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks with onsite equipment, including critical spares and plant performance.
• Manage environmental conditions via the BMS system and ensure plant and equipment operate efficiently.
• Fault-find on a wide range of HVAC plant and equipment, with a focus on VRV/VRF systems.
• Work safely with refrigerants, ensuring compliance with F‑Gas handling requirements.
• Supervise subcontractors and participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours tasks.
• Prepare risk assessments and method statements; document tasks in CAFM.
