Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions seeks an HVAC Engineer to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant, equipment and building services on site. You will identify risks, work with the BMS, and implement preventative maintenance while supporting the team with health and safety;

the role includes on-call duties, potential overtime and supervision of subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient operation of building services.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship or time-served in HVAC maintenance.
• Strong proven experience in HVAC maintenance.
• Mechanical competencies to City & Guilds standard or equivalent.
• Ability to fault find across HVAC systems.
• Ability to supervise contractors and manage sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks on site and improve plant performance.
• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant, equipment, and building services.
• Fault find on HVAC plant with bias to VRV systems and F-Gas handling.
• Supervise sub-contractors and participate in on-call rota for emergencies.
• Complete risk assessments and method statements and document accordingly.
