Job summary

CBRE is seeking a BMS Engineer to ensure the effective operation of the site's Building Management System and to support reactive and planned maintenance. You will work with engineers and managers to minimise downtime, boost efficiency and satisfy customers.

Key duties include carrying out reactive maintenance, completing PPMs, troubleshooting BMS/HVAC issues, coordinating with site teams, and maintaining the BMS network with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a BMS engineering/technical role.
Apprenticeship or experience with Metasys BMS systems preferred but training provided.
Good IT skills and networking knowledge are required.

Responsibilities

Carry out reactive work and maintenance PPMs on the on-site BMS system.
Complete PPM work orders on time and obtain sign-off from the BMS manager.
Troubleshoot BMS/HVAC issues and assist site engineering to rectify faults.
Coordinate technical queries from site teams and TPC representatives.
Provide technical service and support of the BMS/HVAC system for the maintenance team.
Ensure the on-site BMS is fully operational at all times.
Support site teams with BMS/HVAC issues and develop on-site strategy.
Maintain and control access to the BMS Networked System.
Contribute to ongoing customer service improvements through timely communication.
