Job summary
The Powering Solutions Ltd in Perth (UK) is seeking an HV Cable Design Engineer for a full-time hybrid role based in Perth. You will conduct route surveys, design high-voltage cable systems, and produce options reports using GIS and CAD tools.
You will perform detailed design and cable studies with ELEK/CYMCAP or similar software, produce drawings and technical documentation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant, safe energy solutions.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of cable design experience.
- Experience in ELEK/CYMCAP or similar software.
- Experience in AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
- Conduct route survey and design of high-voltage cable systems.
- Undertake detailed site survey and route walk, producing route options in GIS and CAD.
- Produce detailed reports and cable design drawings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
