RedGreen Partners are looking to attract an HR Business Partner into a newly created role on behalf of a national logistics business.

This is a very exciting opportunity and a great time to join the organisation as they assemble their HR team after recently becoming a stand-alone business. An ambitious business strategy will see further growth largely led by merger and acquisition. You will be part of a team of 3 HR Business Partners supporting different regions.

About the role

This role covers the Northern region and will support approximately 500 colleagues.

Working with a supportive HR Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong relationships with Learning and Development, HR Administration, Recruitment, and Payroll teams.
  • Providing key stakeholders with relevant HR data to drive improvements.
  • Supporting customer renewals, growth opportunities, acquisitions, and TUPE processes.
  • Supporting workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Managing employee relations issues such as disciplinaries and grievances.
  • Implementing a performance management culture.
  • Enhancing employee engagement initiatives.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Influencing operational HR processes.
  • Understanding divisional commercial and profit drivers.
  • Supporting pay negotiations.
About you

Ideal candidates will have experience supporting multi-site operations, be comfortable in ambiguous environments, and have knowledge of Trade Unions, TUPE, and reorganization processes. Regular regional travel within the North of England and into Scotland is expected.
