Job summary

South Staffordshire Limited is seeking a Health & Safety Manager in Walsall to lead the design and implementation of Quality, Environmental, Safety and Health standards across the site. You will audit, train, and guide teams to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safe operations.

You will oversee QUENSH reporting, collaborate with multiple departments, and drive initiatives to enhance safety performance while supporting staff

Qualifications

• NEBOSH/NVR/NCRQ diploma required with strong UK Health & Safety knowledge.
• Proven leadership and decision-making skills within health and safety.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety-related software; data interpretation skills.
• Full driving licence required for frequent travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead on Safety, providing direction, support, and development to ensure effective QA/EMS/HSMS implementation.
• Maintain QMS, EMS, and HSMS, ensuring compliance with laws and standards.
• Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations; implement corrective actions.
• Promote sustainable practices, conduct environmental assessments, liaise with regulators and auditors.
• Develop and deliver training on quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Foster continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and monitoring KPIs.
• Maintain records and produce QUENSH reports for senior management.
