Job summary

Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to lead and continuously improve the Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental framework across our sites, projects and services.

The role combines strategic governance with hands-on delivery, ensuring compliance, driving improvements and embedding a strong safety and quality culture in a high-hazard industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Proven QHSE leadership in a high-hazard environment.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Strong knowledge of UK regulations: DSEAR, PSSR, HASAWA, LOLER, PUWER.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of the Safety Management System.
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation (DSEAR, PSSR, HASAWA, LOLER, PUWER).
• Support safe design, construction, commissioning and operation of industrial facilities.
• Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, and mitigation actions.
• Manage incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Act as a primary contact for regulators, clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee PTW and MOC processes and contractor safety.
• Develop emergency response and business continuity plans.
• Ensure RIDDOR reporting and statutory requirements.
