Job summary
United Infrastructure Ltd. is seeking a full-time HSE Adviser to support the delivery of energy transmission infrastructure in the Scottish Highlands.
The role focuses on health, safety and environmental advice, assurance and guidance to project teams while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and client standards. Reporting to the HSE Lead, you will provide day‑to‑day support, monitoring, and coaching to teams constructing overhead lines, substations, and underground cables, with a
Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities or transmission and distribution projects.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
- Experience conducting site inspections and audits.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Responsibilities
- Promote a proactive health and safety culture across all project activities.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and behavioural safety observations.
- Monitor compliance with RAMS and company procedures.
- Support development of HSE plans and emergency arrangements.
- Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Participate in incident investigations and report writing.
- Engage with stakeholders to drive continuous HSE improvement.
