Job summary

United Infrastructure Group is seeking a Senior HSE Adviser to lead health, safety and environmental performance on a major power transmission and distribution project in the Scottish Highlands.

The role is site-based, based in Alness, Scotland, and reports to the HSE Lead, delivering proactive risk management and assurance across multiple work fronts including overhead lines, substations and underground systems.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate required.
• Significant experience on construction/infrastructure projects.
• Experience as a senior HSE advisor on major projects.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and UK HSE legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead health, safety and environmental management across projects.
• Provide assurance and leadership to project teams on HSE matters.
• Conduct inspections, audits, RAMS reviews, and incident investigations.
• Coach and mentor HSE Advisers and site personnel.
• Promote behavioural safety and continuous improvement.
