Job summary
United Infrastructure Power T&D Limited seeks an on-site HSE Adviser to support safe delivery of a 80 km transmission project in the Scottish Highlands. You will provide health, safety and environmental guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, client standards and company procedures.
The role reports to the HSE Lead and focuses on promoting Zero Harm, continuous improvement and minimal environmental impact across overhead lines, substations and cables.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is essential.
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, utilities or transmission and distribution projects.
- Full UK Driving Licence required.
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
- Experience conducting site inspections and audits.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Responsibilities
- Health & Safety management across project activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits and behavioural safety observations.
- Review RAMS and monitor permit-to-work systems and high-risk activities.
- Support environmental management plans and waste compliance.
- Lead safety toolbox talks and workforce engagement activities.
- Assist in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
- Support compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and client HSE requirements.
