Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Adviser to support the Power Transmission & Distribution project in Alness, Scotland. The role is full-time and site-based, reporting to the HSE Lead, with responsibilities across safety, environment and compliance.

You will promote a Zero Harm culture, conduct site inspections, and help implement HSE plans while ensuring alignment with legal requirements and client standards. A proactive, collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent required.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities or transmission projects.
• Full UK Driving Licence essential.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
• Experience conducting site inspections and audits.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Promote a proactive health and safety culture across all project activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and behavioural safety observations.
• Monitor compliance with RAMS, permits, and statutory regulations.
• Support development of HSE plans and incident investigations.
• Deliver toolbox talks, site-start meetings and safety briefings.
