The University of Southampton is seeking an HR Transactions Administration Assistant to provide essential HR administrative support. This full-time, permanent role offers opportunities for career progression within a dynamic team, focusing on delivering high-quality, customer-oriented services. We have an exciting opportunity within Human Resources for an HR Transactions Administration Assistant to provide high-quality HR administrative support for all University staff and casual workers.
The role is a full-time (36 hours per week), permanent position.
This role offers a great opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in HR, with potential for progression within the department.
You will deliver high-quality, timely, and customer-focused administrative support, essential for the team to provide efficient and effective services to the University.
You will utilize the HR/Payroll system (Resourcelink), the visitor database (IDM), and the University’s ticket system (ServiceNow) to input, revise data, and generate contractual and other documentation according to quality standards and service level agreements. Tasks include setting up casual workers and visitors, producing employment references, and more.

About you:
You are well-organized, enjoy working in a busy and varied team, have good attention to detail, and can work under pressure. Previous administration experience is advantageous, but motivated individuals eager to learn new skills and systems are encouraged to apply.
You possess excellent communication and organizational skills, strive to provide outstanding customer service, and are proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
