HR Admin Assistant

Ocean Automotive is one of the South's most prestigious automotive groups, operating across Dorset and Somerset.

The role will be based at our Head Office in Poole, with travel to other sites required, so a driving licence is essential.

The HR Admin Assistant will be responsible for:

  1. Processing starters and leavers, including inductions, check-ins, end of probations, and communication with payroll.
  2. Managing the People Team inbox, responding promptly.
  3. Administering company benefit schemes and updating relevant systems.
  4. Assisting in People-related meetings, including minute-taking.
  5. Ensuring uniform requirements are met, managing stock levels, and issuing uniforms to team members.
  6. Organising and booking training courses and updating the HR system.
  7. Supporting the Head of People with daily admin duties.

This is a varied role requiring adaptability, with frequent communication across multiple stakeholders, so excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills are essential. The candidate must handle information securely, confidentially, and with discretion.

Ideal candidates will be professional, positive, detail-oriented, accurate, and a team player.

Salary ranges from GBP 26,000 to GBP 27,000, based on a 40-hour week, with flexibility for 35-40 hours. Benefits include:
