Introduction
The HR Systems and Data Team are responsible for the application support and development of the new iTrent HR and Payroll System, enabling customers to make full use of the applications. HR Systems Team experts provide leadership and technical advice on system applications to customers, maximising productivity and performance of the system.
The Team are responsible for delivering insightful HR Management information, Key Workforce indicators and analysis that support management teams to make strategic and informed decisions.
The Role
Responsible for providing HR Systems development and support skills, a point of reference and mentoring of colleagues across a grow range of key applications serving HR, maximising system productivity and performance, and ensuring the most effective and efficient use of the systems by the Parliament. Provide high level HR advice, guidance and support of HR systems.
Some of the responsibilities for this role include:
- Provide leadership and technical advice on HR applications to customers
- Lead on troubleshooting system problems and customer enquiries
- Develop reports using varied report-writing or data extraction tools
- develops HR applications service to advance the strategic objectives of the business
- Responsible for the support of Key system interfaces
- Implement upgrade and changes following controlled procedures
- Responsible for planning and delivering project
- Responsible for identifying customer training needs and ensures adequate training for users
- Provide senior technical and specialist input into further development of Service Level targets and Change management procedures
Skills And Experience
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Substantial experience of development and support of iTrent HR applications in particular technical configuration and management of Payroll and Core HR modules. Advanced Excel skills and a proven ability to handle and analyse large quantities of data.
- Proven business analysis experience including process mapping, and requirements definition. Experience of leading on Database administration and understanding of data management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills in technical and service delivery environments to analyse information and find solutions.
- Considerable proven experience in managing competing customer support and project priorities
- Promote the culture of House, maintaining principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion at all times.
