HR Systems Analyst - SAP/SuccessFactors, CIPD, HR Generalist, ECP, GUI

Our leading law firm client is looking to recruit an HR Systems Analyst (SAP/SuccessFactors, CIPD, HR Generalist, ECP, GUI) on a permanent basis. The role involves maintaining the Firm's HRIS, ensuring system efficiency, supporting enhancements and integrations.

This HR Systems Analyst role reports to the HR Operations, MI & Systems Manager and is part of the HR Operations, MI & Systems team. The team aims to align HR strategies with operational execution, delivering high-quality service to internal clients and enhancing the department's professional reputation.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a key contact for PeopleHub, possessing detailed knowledge of the system and its data to handle queries and issues effectively.
  • Support the delivery of the HR Systems roadmap, including projects in Employee Central (EC), Performance and Goal Management, Reporting, and Employee Central Payroll.
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to plan, develop, and implement HRIS integrations and maintain existing connections.
  • Manage the Firm's position management independently and embed it into Recruitment and Finance processes.
  • Perform regular system processes such as imports, bulk updates, configuration changes, permission role management, and document updates.
  • Design and implement new objects in EC and process variants in Onboarding to enhance HR processes.
  • Conduct data cleanses and reconciliations, ensuring data integrity and transparency, and support HR Reporting for reliable information.
  • Support the time off/absence module, including period-end processing and absence buy/sell activities.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of EC Payroll and GUI to support payroll operations.
  • Understand data flow between core HR systems and other firm systems, considering downstream impacts.
  • Provide recommendations and solutions for system limitations, troubleshoot issues, and engage stakeholders appropriately.
  • Update user and internal HR documentation as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, including SRA Standards and Regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • CIPD Level 5 accreditation or equivalent experience (desirable but not essential).
  • Understanding of HR System processes and functionality, preferably from an HR generalist background.
  • System Admin SFX Accreditation and knowledge of EC, PMGM, and Reporting modules (preferred).
  • Experience with SAP/SuccessFactors, particularly ECP and GUI.
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills, including vlookups, pivot tables, and formulas.
  • Appreciation for HR systems and commitment to service improvement.
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations such as GDPR.
