Job summary

Premier Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join our client’s team on an interim fixed-term basis until March 2028. Based in Coleshill, Birmingham, this role supports the delivery of the people strategy by providing expert employee relations advice, leading organizational change initiatives, and managing various HR projects across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 7 qualification or working towards it.
• Significant experience handling complex employee relations in engineering, manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong understanding of UK employment law and ER best practices.
• Experience in organizational change, job evaluation and HR project delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead job evaluation activities and benchmark roles with grading recommendations.
• Act as primary HR contact for complex employee relations cases across the UK & Ireland.
• Support restructures, workforce planning and change management initiatives.
• Guide cross-border HR matters and ensure legal compliance.
• Assist recruitment, onboarding and ongoing policy development.
