Job summary

Greencore, a leading UK convenience food producer formed after merging with Bakkavor, is recruiting for a 15-month FTC to lead the HR Shared Services centre. You’ll join a fast-moving business with 28,000 colleagues across multiple sites, focused on delivering efficient transactional and advisory support to the whole group.

Reporting to the senior HR team, you’ll coach the SSC team, partner with business leaders to shape service delivery, ensure compliant processes, monitor SLAs, and drive

Qualifications

• CIPD membership/qualification or time served in HR.
• Experience in transactional HR and advisory activities.
• Proven experience of HR Shared Services management in a large business.
• Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.
• Understanding of HR and case management systems.
• Robust organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills across levels.
• Able to work under pressure and manage complex projects.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a HR Shared Services centre for the whole group with end-to-end processes.
• Coach, support, mentor and build SSC team capability.
• Partner with the HR community to ensure compliant services.
• Maintain a compliance culture with audit activity.
• Monitor service performance against SLAs and address gaps.
• Provide professional advisory service for people issues.
• Drive customer service and consistent best-practice guidance.
• Handle complex queries and drive escalation as needed.
