Job summary

Gategroup is seeking an HR Shared Services Team Leader in the United Kingdom to lead a team of HR Administrators, oversee end-to-end HR administration, and drive transformation projects. You will manage HR systems and data while delivering accurate, customer-focused service across the employee lifecycle.

In this role, you will maintain Workday integrity, ensure compliance with UK employment law and GDPR, monitor KPIs, generate management reports, and support system implementations.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading and developing a team.
• Knowledge of HRIS and GDPR compliance.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the HR Shared Services team, managing workloads and service levels.
• Oversee end-to-end HR administration, including hiring, employee changes, family leave, benefits, leavers and pay changes.
• Lead the administration of Workday and keep employee data accurate and compliant.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and GDPR.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs, produce management reporting and identify process improvements.
• Act as first escalation point for complex HR queries.
• Support HR projects, system implementations and organisational change.
• Ensure compliance with referencing and DBS requirements.
