HR Services Leader – Payroll, HRIS & Compliance

Job summary

InPost UK is seeking a Head of HR Services to lead HR operations across the UK and Ireland, overseeing payroll, HR systems and service delivery, while driving automation and compliance within the P&C Leadership Team.

You will manage a payroll/HR Services team of around 20, deliver accurate pay, implement an HRIS transformation, and build scalable services with clear SLAs, budgets and supplier management to support rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading high-volume payroll for shift and hourly staff, including automation.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll transformation, including SAP, and simplifying payrolls after acquisitions or mergers.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll and employment law, with experience owning NMW compliance and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR Services team and develop the function for c.20 staff.
• Run payroll processes for multiple payrolls and ensure accurate, timely pay.
• Own the HRIS transformation roadmap and ensure systems work together (HRIS, payroll, time&attendance).
• Ensure HR services are scalable with clear SLAs, data, reporting, and budget control.
• Present progress and outcomes to the Senior Leadership Team and People & Culture meetings.
