Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking a People Services Manager to lead day-to-day People Services across the business, ensuring a high-quality employee lifecycle service. You will partner with People Systems, Payroll and Reward to drive efficient, compliant processes and a strong customer-focused culture.

You will manage the People Services team, handle escalations and deliver continuous improvement within a large, complex organisation, balancing delivery with transformation objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading People Services, HR Operations or Shared Services with a track record of delivering high-quality operational HR services.
• Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes and HR administration.
• Experience managing service standards, SLAs, workloads and operational performance.
• Ability to coach and develop teams and manage escalations with senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in an HRIS-enabled environment; Workday experience would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and manage the People Services team to create a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
• Manage capacity and priorities to deliver effective, responsive service.
• Set expectations, provide coaching and development to the team.
• Act as escalation point for complex People Services queries.
• Support Head of People Operations in developing the function and implementing a shared services operating model.
• Take ownership of day-to-day People Services operation and ensure service standards and SLAs are met.
• Oversee management of queries and cases, prioritising and resolving them.
• Monitor performance, volumes and trends to identify improvements.
• Embed controls, quality checks and escalation processes across People Services.
• Provide regular performance updates to the Head of People Operations.
