Job summary

VolkerWessels UK Ltd. is seeking a part-time HR Service Coordinator to join the HR Shared Services team in Hoddesdon. The role supports the employee lifecycle, from onboarding new starters to contractual changes, and maintains accurate HR records across systems.

You will provide first-line HR guidance, manage queries in line with policies and SLAs, and build strong relationships with stakeholders while contributing to service improvements within the HR Centre.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service, shared services, or contact centre environment.
• Strong communication skills with experience supporting customers by phone, email, and face-to-face.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and HR systems such as iTrent and ServiceNow.
• Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality HR transactional service across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to contractual changes.
• Process HR documentation including offer letters, contract amendments, and employee record updates.
• Maintain accurate HR data and contribute to reporting and management information.
• Provide first-line HR guidance and support in line with policies and SLAs.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and support continuous improvement within the HR Service Centre.
• Assist with wider HR Service Centre activities and projects as required.

Reporting to the HR Service Centre Team Leader, you'll provide a responsive and efficient HR administration service across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding new starters and processing contractual changes to maintaining accurate employee records within our systems.
