Overview We are currently looking for experienced HR Project Managers with strong HR domain expertise and a proven track record delivering payroll and HR systems projects. This role will involve leading end-to-end delivery across complex stakeholder environments, specifically involving Kronos UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP HCM, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HR technology and payroll transformation projects from initiation through to go-live and hypercare.
- Manage project scope, plans, RAID, budget, dependencies and governance in line with delivery frameworks.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, vendors and third-party implementation partners.
- Oversee requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design, configuration oversight, integrations, testing and cutover planning.
- Drive delivery across Kronos UKG, SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HCM workstreams, ensuring alignment with HR operating model and compliance needs.
- Prepare and present status reporting, steering pack materials and decision papers for senior stakeholders.
- Manage change impacts, communications, training coordination and adoption planning to ensure successful rollout.
- Ensure data migration, security, controls and audit requirements are addressed, including GDPR considerations.
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as an HR Project Manager delivering HR systems and/or payroll projects within consultancy or advisory settings.
- Strong HR domain knowledge, including core HR, payroll, time and attendance, and HR service delivery processes.
- Hands-on project delivery experience involving Kronos UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP HCM.
- Experience managing third-party vendors, implementation partners and multi-workstream programmes.
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, facilitate workshops and drive decisions.
- Strong understanding of SDLC/implementation lifecycles, test phases (SIT/UAT), cutover and hypercare.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills, with clear communication in written and spoken English.
Desirable
- PRINCE2, APM, Agile or similar project management certification.
- Experience with HR integrations (e.g., middleware), payroll interfaces, and data migration approaches.
- Exposure to regulated environments and robust governance models.
Working Pattern London-based delivery with a hybrid working approach depending on client needs.
