Job summary

Verizon is seeking an HR Specialist to provide operational HR support for its EMEA-based employees. The role is based in Reading, United Kingdom, and is in a hybrid arrangement with two office days per week.

Responsibilities include onboarding coordination, HR query resolution via Workday Help, managing employee data, and handling leave, mobility, and vendor processes in coordination with Finance and C&B teams. A degree or relevant HR experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational HR support for EMEA-based employees.
• Manage employee lifecycle transactions including onboarding, contract addenda, and self-service workflows.
• Answer HR queries via Workday Help within SLAs and coordinate with internal/external partners.
• Maintain and secure employee databases using Workday, Google Suite, and related systems.
• Administer Leave of Absence, references, and global mobility workflows including immigration and inter-country transfers.
• Coordinate HR vendor processes, invoicing and purchase orders with Local Finance and C&B teams.
• Handle work references and Leave of Absence administration in line with guidelines.
• Support global mobility case management and record retention of employee files.
