Job summary

Executive Network Group is seeking a hands-on HR Manager for a fast-paced manufacturing site in North Wales (Chester South). You will lead a small HR team and report to the HR Director, managing the full employee lifecycle and ER in a UK context.

You'll partner with operational leaders to implement policies and drive change, with a focus on continuous improvement across HR processes. CIPD Level 5 or above is preferred to shape a high-performing site.

Qualifications

• Significant HR experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or blue-collar environments.
• Experience leading or mentoring a small HR team.
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Are you a hands-on HR professional who thrives in the high-energy atmosphere of a fast-paced production environment? We are seeking a dynamic HR Manager to lead a site-based team for a leading food manufacturer, reporting into the HR Director.

This is a visible, generalist role where you will hit the ground running, partnering closely with operational leaders to drive best practices and manage the full employee lifecycle.

The Opportunity

You will be over seeing a small team of HR professionals, reporting to the HR Director and be ontop of everything from ER through to implementing policy and procedure.

Key Responsibilities

• Employee Relations: Lead on complex ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management while ensuring full compliance with UK employment law.
• Team Leadership: Manage and develop a small, dedicated HR team.
• Operational Partnering: Coach and mentor line / floor managers to enhance their people management capabilities and shop-floor visibility.
• Change Management: Play a pivotal role in organisational change, including workforce planning and site transformation initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive enhancements in HR policies, processes, and systems

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven Background: Significant HR experience within manufacturing, FMCG, or a blue-collar environment is essential.
• ER Specialist: Experience in managing complex employee relations.
• Leadership: Experience managing or mentoring team members.
• Mindset: A positive, energetic approach with the ability to work autonomously and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Qualification: CIPD Level 5 or above
