Job summary

Confidential is seeking an HR Coordinator in the United Kingdom to provide day-to-day transactional HR and internal recruitment support. The role covers recruitment coordination, onboarding, HR administration and first-line queries, offering broad exposure across the employee lifecycle as the business scales.

The role presents growth opportunities toward specialist or advisory HR/talent capabilities as the function develops in a founder-led, investment-backed environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in an HR admin/coordination or generalist support role
• Experience supporting end-to-end recruitment processes (scheduling, screening, coordination)
• Confident using HR systems/HRIS and Microsoft Office tools
• High attention to detail with HR records, data and confidentiality
• Clear, professional communicator handling day-to-day employee queries
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activity end-to-end (posting roles, screening, interviews, liaising with managers and candidates)
• Support offer and pre-employment checks (references, right-to-work, contracts)
• Own the onboarding process (inductions, paperwork, system access, first-week checks)
• Maintain accurate HR files (physical and digital) and HR data/HRIS
• Produce routine HR reports and metrics
• Be the first point of contact for day-to-day employee queries and guide to policies
• Assist in updating the policy library and HR processes as needed
