Job summary

Legendre-Logistics is looking for an HR Coordinator to join our HR team across the UK and Channel Islands. You will support employees and managers, help with the full employee lifecycle, and work closely with the HR Business Partner.

We’re seeking someone with 1–2 years of HR experience who is eager to learn, take ownership, and contribute to a positive, consistent employee experience. No two days will be the same as you help keep HR operations running smoothly.

• 1–2 years HR experience or equivalent
• Ability to learn quickly and take ownership
• Strong organisational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment from vacancy approval through onboarding, including coordinating interviews and pre-employment checks
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding to ensure a positive starter and leaver experience
• Prepare contracts, letters, amendments and other HR documents
• Assist UK and Channel Islands payroll and benefits administration
• Manage Right to Work checks and visa/work permit administration
• Respond to routine HR queries and support managers and employees with HR processes
• Coordinate training and support learning and development initiatives
• Maintain accurate employee records across HR systems
• Support performance reviews, employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement of processes and employee experience
• Support early careers initiatives and campaigns
