Evolve Recruitment is seeking a highly organised and proactive HRCo-ordinator to provide administrative and operational support to the HR team, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and HR projects. This role acts as a first point of contact for HR queries, helps ensure compliance with company policies and employment law, and contributes to the smooth running of day-to-day HR operations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with raising job requisitions and creating job profiles
- Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications
- Support new hire onboarding, including documentation, induction, and orientation.
- Maintain accurate employee records in Workday and personnel files
- Prepare letters, contracts, and other HR documentation
- Support HR reporting and metrics (headcount, turnover, absence, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries from employees
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and processes
- Assist in organising employee engagement activities.
- Assist in implementing HR initiatives and projects and employee engagement activities
- Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies.
- Learning & Development
- Assist in organizing training sessions and maintaining training records using the LMS.
- Support development and learning initiatives within the HR team.
- General Administrative Support
- Help organise HR meetings and events
- Manage HR inboxes/ticketing system and correspondence
- Provide ad-hoc HR support as required by the team.
Skills / Experience & Qualities
- Basic understanding of HR processes, employment law, and HR policies
- Experience or comfort with HR administration (employee records, contracts, documentation)
- Familiarity with Workday and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
- Active listening and ability to respond to employee queries effectively.
