Currently seeking an HR Contractor based in Cambridge for a 3-month contract with one of our clients.

Summary of the HR Contractor Role

Salary: GBP55,000 per annum
Location: Cambridge
Contract Duration: 3 months
Hours: 37 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Manage all employee lifecycle functions including onboarding, leavers, recruitment, and temporary workers.
• Maintain accurate employee records and generate reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee compensation and benefits management.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external auditing processes and policies.
• Report to the CEO and Board.
• Ensure employment contracts, letters, and HR documentation are legally compliant and distributed promptly.
• Conduct and review annual performance management and appraisal processes.
• Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures.

Requirements

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or higher.
• Significant hands-on HR experience, including managing the employee lifecycle.
• Diplomatic and discreet demeanor.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with HR database implementation and management.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
