Senior Ecommerce UX/UI Designer (Contractor)

Our clients include revolutionary brands such as Selena Gomez's Rare Beauty, Dermalogica, Liquid Death, Lemon Perfect, and more.

Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to support UN/COMMON's expansion into the Middle East and APAC regions. As a freelance UX/UI Designer, you'll work with some of the largest and fastest-growing brands in these regions, helping to build top-tier digital experiences. You'll collaborate with project managers, developers, and strategists to create seamless, high-converting eCommerce user journeys.

Location & Future Plans

This role is remote initially. Candidates should be based in or willing to relocate to Dubai before the end of the year. It is a contract-to-hire role, with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time position within 6-9 months.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head of Delivery, developers, and strategists to deliver exceptional digital experiences.
• Conduct UX audits to identify optimization opportunities.
• Create user personas and define customer journeys.
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and UI concepts for websites and digital platforms.
• Support the design of email templates, digital assets, and campaign materials.
• Develop documentation and design systems for developers and team members.
• Present design concepts to internal teams and clients.
• Lead and participate in design sprints.
• Apply UX/UI best practices to align business goals with user needs, focusing on conversions.
• Bring innovative ideas and contribute to the creative process.

Hours & Contract Details

• Freelance, project-based work with no fixed hours initially.
