Job description

Radis Community Care has an opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to support our services across South Wales, Bristol, Portsmouth, Reading, Devon, and North Somerset.

This is a hybrid role requiring regular travel (approximately 70%) to the supported services and some home working. You will have access to a desk and office facilities at one of our local services.

About the role

The HR Business Partner plays a critical role in working closely with management and employees to provide comprehensive support and deliver a value-added HR service.

  1. Act as a consultant to management on HR-related issues, providing HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  2. Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, including TUPE transfers.
  3. Provide timely and professional guidance to managers and employees.
  4. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations when required.
  5. Implement HR initiatives aligned with overall business requirements.
  6. Partner with leadership to develop and implement organizational strategies.
  7. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management, reducing legal risks, and ensuring compliance.
  8. Drive HR initiatives to establish and retain talent within the organization.
  9. Collaborate with managers to understand future resourcing needs and develop strategic solutions.
  10. Support the performance appraisal process and provide day-to-day performance management guidance.
  11. Assist in developing and implementing performance improvement plans.
  12. Analyze HR data to predict and diagnose organizational issues and develop solutions.
  13. Provide guidance on pay and other remuneration issues.
  14. Work collaboratively with the HR Shared Services Admin Manager and HR Processes & Projects to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies across the HR function to deliver HR excellence.
Skills and Qualifications

We seek a self-motivated, conscientious, proactive individual with integrity. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in a busy HR department in a similar role and a minimum of CIPD Level 5 or equivalent. An understanding of HR processes and current UK employment law is essential. Experience in the care sector is desirable but not mandatory.

You must have a car available for business use and be willing to stay overnight occasionally.
