Job summary

A leading biopharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide HR support to business leaders in the UK. This remote role involves developing and implementing HR strategies to drive business success, with a preference for candidates having Life Science industry experience. Ideal candidates will have 8-12 years of HR experience, including a strong background in coaching and communication.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in Human Resources with at least 6 years as an HR Business Partner.
• Proven track record in developing strategic HR initiatives.
• Experience in supporting business P&L leadership.

Summary

Job Responsibilities

Provides strong HR support to leaders and/or business groups in a specific region/country. Ensures business goals and HR strategies are aligned and executed effectively. Partners with assigned leaders to drive people strategies.

Responsibilities

• Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of talent within the company
• Partner with HR Lead & HR COE to execute large people projects (e.g., HR Data, performance management, compensation strategy design, etc.).
• Support leaders and employees, on all strategies related to people in assigned functional/business line teams, managing concepts and appropriate related tasks
• Partner with and pull through initiatives from centers of excellence, including compensation, learning & development, talent acquisition, legal, and finance
• Consult with leaders to provide insight on employee issues
• Provide analytics of employee data (compensation, retention, etc) to help drive the development of the people strategy

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will need the following experience / skills to be considered:

• 8-12 years within Human Resources, with 6+ as an HR Business Partner
• Background in developing/implementing strategic HR initiatives to drive business's success
• Experience supporting business leadership in charge of P&L
• Preference of Life Science industry experience; CRO experience ideal
• Undergraduate Degree; Graduate Degree and/or HR certification preferred
• Strong communication and coaching skills
