Location: Hybrid – Based in Peterborough, with flexible working (avg. 3 days/week on site)
Contract Type: 13 month fixed term contract
We’re the @one Alliance – a ground-breaking collaboration between Anglian Water and seven industry-leading partners: Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska and SWECO. Together, we deliver over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.
As we prepare for AMP8, our most ambitious period yet, we’ll be delivering an even broader range of innovative and environmentally-driven infrastructure projects – from urban drainage to nature-based solutions like constructed wetlands.
What you’ll be doing
In this highly visible role, you’ll work closely with senior leaders across the Alliance, acting as a trusted advisor to align people strategies with organisational goals. You’ll play a vital role in supporting high performance, organisational change, and a culture where everyone can thrive.
Key responsibilities:
Partner with senior leaders to deliver people strategies that drive business outcomes
Lead initiatives in workforce planning, talent development and organisational design
Provide expert support on employee relations and complex HR challenges
Use data and insights to guide decisions and measure success
Champion diversity, equity and inclusion across all teams
Coach leaders to build confidence and capability in managing their people
Collaborate with Alliance partner organisations to co-create HR solutions and share best practice
Maintain a high standard of professionalism, confidentiality and collaboration
About you
We’re looking for someone who is confident, capable and collaborative, with a passion for people and progress.
You will:
Be a qualified HR professional (CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience)
Have experience as a strategic HR Business Partner or senior HR role
Be skilled in analysing HR metrics and turning insights into action
Be an excellent communicator, coach and relationship builder
Have experience in managing change and influencing at a senior level
Be resilient, adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
