We are seeking a full-time HR Business Partner to support our Children's and Education directorate. The role involves acting as the strategic link between HR services and the directorate, supporting key projects such as Family First and wider Children reforms, workforce engagement, social work recruitment, and implementing workforce strategies.
Ideal candidates will have previous BP experience, preferably from a Local Authority, strong communication skills, and a good understanding of legislation. Knowledge of national policy context and workforce challenges within Children's and Education sectors is beneficial.
The role involves organizational design, change management, service redesign, and managing consultations and relationships with trade unions. You should have a proven track record of delivering tangible HR outcomes that benefit the organization and employees.
Requirements include excellent communication, strategic thinking, policy assessment, data-driven decision making, problem-solving skills, planning, people management, project management, and comprehensive HR expertise, including employment law and organizational change.
