Job summary

Orian Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our busy People Team on a 13-month maternity cover. Based at our Head Office in Carlisle, the role offers flexibility to work from home and travel between sites if required.

You will provide day-to-day HR advice to managers and staff, support employee relations casework, maintain HR records, and ensure policies align with UK employment law. A proactive, adaptable approach and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a generalist HR advisory role with 2+ years
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice, coaching and guidance to managers and employees
• Support employee relations casework including absence management, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters
• Work collaboratively with the operations admin team
• Support operational managers through a busy period of change and growth
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation
• Maintain accurate HR records and reporting
• Support in all aspects of TUPE activity

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our busy People Team on a fixed term basis for 13 months maternity cover contract. Based at our Head Office in Carlisle, this role also offers flexibility to work from home.

The successful candidate MUST have 2 years + as a professional HR Advisor and provide support to managers and employees across the organisation, helping to deliver an effective and people-focused HR service.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice, coaching and guidance to our operational managers and employees
• Support employee relations casework including absence management, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters
• Work collaboratively with the operations admin team
• Support operational managers through a busy period of change and growth
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation.
• Maintain accurate HR records and reporting
• Support in all aspects of TUPE activity

Skills and Qualifications Required

• Experience of working in Facilities Management (Desirable)
• Previous experience in a generalist HR advisory role with a 2 year + experience
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites if required
• Enjoy being part of a fast-paced HR team
