Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, 0830 - 1630. Role eligible for hybrid working, 3 days in the office/2 days from home.
We are looking for a HR Advisor to provide professional HR advice and support to employees and management across the UK. The role will ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures and current UK employment legislation, while providing a proactive and customer-focused HR service.
Consideration will also be given to individuals who may be at the early stages of their HR career but can demonstrate the necessary skills, behaviours, knowledge and potential to develop successfully within the role. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, a proactive approach, sound judgement, a willingness to learn and a genuine commitment to developing their HR career. Appropriate support and development will be provided to the successful candidate where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day to day HR advice and support to UK employees and managers across a broad range of HR matters, including Employee Relations, disciplinary and grievance processes, absence and performance management, flexible working, maternity, consultations and TUPE.
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues and managers at all levels.
- Handle sensitive and confidential employee matters with professionalism, integrity and discretion.
- Support recruitment activity in line with Company processes and deliver Company inductions. Support employee training, development and HR systems.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and ad hoc HR reports and statistics, ensuring accurate employee data is maintained and shared with HR Shared Services.
- Review and contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures to ensure they remain effective and legally compliant.
- Support HR projects and initiatives, including Graduate and Apprentice recruitment and Employee Satisfaction Surveys.
- Contribute to commercial bids, tenders and other HR-related projects as required.

Minimum Qualifications
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Qualifications/Competencies
- Degree in HR, Business Management or a related subject.
- Experience working in a unionised environment.
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or working towards
