The role is based at our site in Tywyn, Wales (we are open to discussing different working arrangements such as part-time and hybrid). Reporting to: HR Business Partner.

Role

THG Nutrition is looking to recruit an HR (People) Advisor to join the team focusing on our manufacturing business in Tywyn, Wales - Brighter Foods. (Note: where business need requires, you may be asked to assist the team working on our other manufacturing businesses). The HR Advisor will report into the HR Business Partner and support them in key areas including employee relations cases, data analysis and project work, plus support the wider group with HR-related activities. Providing advice and guidance to staff and managers and working with them to ensure they follow processes and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for the management of all core ER cases across business areas including sickness, flexible working requests, performance management plans, grievance and disciplinary processes.
  • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues and managers as required.
  • Liaise with the HR Business Partner to ensure appropriate support is provided to THG on complex ER issues.
  • Coach and influence managers in developing their people management/leadership skills.
  • Ensure all cases of formal performance management are documented.
  • Support the creation and rollout of engagement activities.
  • Deliver HR module training to the internal management team.
  • Work closely with the wider People Team (Talent, Payroll/T&A/Shared Service/People Data).
  • Data analysis and attrition analysis; exit interviews and associated action planning.
Skills and Experience
  • At least two years HR experience.
  • Clean UK Driving License.
  • Experience advising managers and stakeholders on HR policies and procedures.
  • Experience managing HR cases within warehousing or manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Strong technical skills and a good working knowledge of current employment legislation.
  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and summarise key findings.
  • Good communication and data presentation skills.
  • Capable of working using your own initiative.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • CIPD Qualification is desirable.
