HR Advisor – Part-time

Job summary

Jobtailor in Birmingham is seeking an HR professional to support and advise on employee relations across two sites, Merlin Park and Minworth, with weekly travel. The role focuses on discipline, absence management, performance improvement and engagement initiatives.

You will work 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and collaborate with line managers, union representatives and other stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and smooth HR operations on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced HR team, ideally within logistics or distribution.
• Experience handling complex employee relations cases.
• Experience dealing with Trade Union negotiation is highly desirable.
• CIPD Level 3 qualified, or working towards.
• Experience advising line managers on employee relations issues.
• Experience setting up processes and systems.
• Knowledge of employment law.
• Experience in a unionised environment is highly desirable.
• Ability to work 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Ability to travel weekly to the Minworth site.

Responsibilities
