Job summary

Egis is seeking a proactive HR Advisor to provide a responsive, people-focused HR service across the Operations & Maintenance business in the UK. You will work closely with managers, employees and stakeholders to deliver practical guidance through the employee lifecycle.

The role requires strong knowledge of UK employment law, solid HR generalist experience, and the ability to manage competing priorities with discretion. Travel to contract locations may be required.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR experience.
• Experience in an HR Advisor or generalist role within a complex, multi-site environment.
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Strong coaching, influencing and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive HR advice to managers and employees across the Operations & Maintenance business.
• Coach and support managers through employee relations matters, including disciplinary and performance issues.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, payroll and visa administration throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Interpret HR policies and employment law to suggest practical, commercial solutions.
• Maintain accurate HR records and contribute to MI, reports and presentations.
• Build trusted relationships with contract stakeholders and the wider HR team.
• Support delivery of HR policies and projects across the business.
