Zusammenfassung

The Mears Group is seeking an HR Advisor to provide comprehensive advisory support across the Group, ensuring cases align with policies and employment law. You will influence managers, manage complex cases and balance commercial risk with fair outcomes.

You will handle absence, performance, disciplinaries and grievances, log and escalate cases, train managers, analyse HR data, and travel to branches across the UK to support people initiatives and TUPE projects.

Qualifikationen

• Experience advising on employee relations cases.
• Exposure to trade unions.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends.
• Experience training managers on HR processes.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Full UK driving licence with <= 9 points.

Aufgaben

• Provide employee relations advice across absence management, performance management, disciplinaries and grievances.
• Log, monitor and manage casework with timely escalation.
• Train and support managers on HR processes.
• Analyse HR data to identify trends and inform people plans.
• Represent HR at complex meetings including dismissals and appeals.
• Travel to branches to coach managers on people matters.
• Assist with HR projects such as restructures, change management and TUPE.
• Support social value initiatives within the community.
