Fixed Term Contract Until September 2026


We are looking for an HR Advisor to provide comprehensive HR support to our Bristol offices as well as supporting the wider HR team when capacity allows.

Reporting into the Head of HR Business Partnering, based in Bristol, and working closely with the HR Business Partners, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional, pragmatic coaching and advice to leaders, and guiding employees on a range of HR policies and processes to managers and leaders at the site.

The HR Advisor will be the first point of contact for manager queries, supporting various HR activities and projects while representing the wider HR function. The role has a significant focus on employee relations on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional passionate about HR and delivering excellent service. The candidate should have strong knowledge of UK employment legislation, generalist HR experience, and proven experience managing high-volume, complex employee relations cases.

Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills are essential, along with practical knowledge of Microsoft Office. The candidate should value accuracy in administrative tasks and strive for high standards.

This role suits someone committed to providing excellent customer service, enjoys coaching managers, resolving queries, and seeking continuous improvement. The ability to work independently, be self-organized, and build relationships across the organization to understand business objectives and their impact on employees is crucial.

Minimum Criteria
  • Experience managing employee relations cases
  • Experience as a HR Advisor or demonstrated aptitude for the role
  • Understanding of UK employment legislation
  • Strong customer service ethos
  • Excellent attention to detail
Desirable Criteria
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or higher
  • Analytical skills
  • Experience supporting HR projects
  • Experience in strategy creation and embedding within a product-centered organization with hybrid teams
