Zusammenfassung

Babcock is seeking a HR Advisor to support managers and employees across our Rail business from Hamilton Office and Cadder Yard near Glasgow. The role is a six-month fixed-term contract, full-time with hybrid working and travel to other sites as needed.

You will provide expert guidance on employee relations, HR policies, and change initiatives, coach managers, and produce HR analytics to support business decisions while ensuring compliance and an inclusive culture.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in a Human Resources Advisor or Employee Relations role.
• Experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish.
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience supporting investigations and formal HR processes.
• Experience using HR systems and analysing people data to produce reports and insights.

Aufgaben

• Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters, HR policies, and employment legislation.
• Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, and flexible working matters.
• Support organisational change programmes, including consultations, restructures, redundancies, and TUPE activities.
• Coaching and developing managers to build capability and confidence in people management practices.
• Producing HR reports and analysing people data to identify trends and support business decision-making.
