Job summary

Anderson Knight is partnering with a well-established organisation in Lanarkshire to recruit an experienced HR Adviser on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will provide expert employee relations support, partnering with managers to navigate people matters and drive positive employee outcomes.

The role requires strong ER experience, CIPD qualification, and a solid knowledge of UK employment law. Hybrid working and a collaborative HR team environment are on offer.

Qualifications

• CIPD qualification required.
• Experience as HR Adviser/Employee Relations or HRBP with ER responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience handling complex ER cases from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Manage a wide range of employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability, performance, conduct).
• Provide expert advice, guidance and coaching to managers on people-related issues.
• Lead and support investigations, hearings and appeals where required.
• Ensure ER matters comply with employment legislation and policies.
• Prepare accurate documentation, reports and case records.
• Identify trends and recommend improvements to processes and people practices.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure a consistent approach to employee management.
• Support the review and development of HR policies and initiatives.
