Job summary

Clockwork Organisation Ltd t/a Travail Employment is seeking an experienced HR Advisor in Wrexham on a 14-month fixed-term contract. The role covers the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to employee relations and development, working closely with managers and employees.

The ideal candidate has generalist HR experience, solid knowledge of UK employment law, and strong communication skills. The position operates Monday to Friday with a salary of £32,500 per year plus a bonus at the end of

Qualifications

• Experience in a generalist HR role at Advisor level.
• Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Proven experience supporting employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
• Knowledge of recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Professional and confidential approach when handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for managers on a variety of people-related matters.
• Provide guidance and support on disciplinary, grievance, conduct, capability and performance management issues.
• Assist with investigations, formal meetings and associated documentation.
• Support compliance with company policies, procedures and employment legislation.
• Review absence trends and assist with return-to-work and attendance management processes.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including job advertising, candidate screening and interview arrangements.
• Prepare offers of employment and assist with pre-employment checks.
• Facilitate onboarding and induction programmes for new employees.
• Support training administration and employee development initiatives.
• Produce contracts, letters and other employment-related documentation.
• Prepare HR reports and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Contribute to policy reviews, process improvements and wider HR projects.
• Respond to day-to-day HR enquiries from employees and managers.
